Shipping Policy

Thank you for supporting Mossy Meadows sweets & treats! Our chocolates and sweets are handcrafted in small batches and packaged carefully to ensure they arrive as beautifully as possible.

Processing Time  
Orders are typically processed within 2–4 business days. Because our products are handmade, processing times may be slightly longer during holidays, sales, or high-volume periods.

Customers will receive a tracking number once their order has shipped.

Shipping Carriers  
We ship using trusted carriers such as USPS or UPS. Shipping options and delivery times will be calculated at checkout based on your location.

Once a package leaves our kitchen and is in the hands of the shipping carrier, delivery times are outside of our control.

Warm Weather & Melt Disclaimer  
Chocolate is heat-sensitive and may soften or melt during transit, especially in warmer temperatures.

During warmer months, we may include insulated packaging and/or ice packs when necessary to help protect your order.

However, we cannot guarantee that chocolate will not melt once it leaves our facility. By placing an order, customers acknowledge and accept this risk.

We recommend selecting expedited shipping when temperatures are warm.

Incorrect Addresses  
Please ensure that your shipping address is entered correctly at checkout. We are not responsible for packages delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.

If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, the customer will be responsible for the cost of reshipping.

Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Packages  
Once a package is marked as delivered by the shipping carrier, we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

If your package is delayed or missing, please contact the shipping carrier directly using your tracking number.

Damaged Orders  
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and include photos of the product and packaging so we can review the issue and assist you.

Local Pickup (if applicable)  
Local pickup may be available for select customers. Pickup details will be provided after checkout if this option is selected.

Texas Cottage Food Notice  
Our products are made in a home kitchen operating under Texas Cottage Food Law, which has not been inspected by the Department of State Health Services.
